Daniel 9:13-14 Part 4 of 4

"Every curse written against us in the Law of Moses has come true. Yet we have refused to seek mercy from the LORD our God by turning from our sins and recognizing his truth. Therefore, the LORD has brought upon us the disaster he prepared. The LORD our God was right to do all of these things, for we did not obey him."

Jeremiah 44:2-3  "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies, the God of Israel, says: You saw the calamity I brought on Jerusalem and all the towns of Judah. They now lie deserted and in ruins. They provoked my anger with all their wickedness. They burned incense and worshiped other gods--gods that neither they nor you nor any of your ancestors had ever known," (see all chapter 44)

Jeremiah 32:23  "Our ancestors came and conquered it and lived in it, but they refused to obey you or follow your word. They have not done anything you commanded. That is why you have sent this terrible disaster upon them." (see verses 16-25)

Psalm 78:10-12  They did not keep God's covenant and refused to live by his instructions. They forgot what he had done--the great wonders he had shown them, the miracles he did for their ancestors on the plain of Zoan in the land of Egypt. (see all Psalm 78)

Psalm 106:13-15  Yet how quickly they forgot what he had done! They wouldn't wait for his counsel! In the wilderness their desires ran wild, testing God's patience in that dry wasteland. So he gave them what they asked for, but he sent a plague along with it. (see all Psalm 106)

Psalm 107:10-12  Some sat in darkness and deepest gloom, imprisoned in iron chains of misery. They rebelled against the word of God, scorning the counsel of the Most High. That is why he broke them with hard labor; they fell, and no one was there to help them. (see verses 10-16)

1 Samuel 15:22-23  But Samuel replied, "What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams. Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft, and stubbornness as bad as worshiping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the LORD, he has rejected you as king." (see all chapter 15)
