Daniel 9:4-6 Part 1 of 2

I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: "O Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands. But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations. We have refused to listen to your servants the prophets who spoke on your authority to our kings and princes and ancestors and to all the people of the land."

Deuteronomy 7:9  "Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands." (see verses 6-14)

Romans 8:28  And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (see verses 26-31)

Nehemiah 9:32  "And now, our God, the great and mighty and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of unfailing love, do not let all the hardships we have suffered seem insignificant to you. Great trouble has come upon us and upon our kings and leaders and priests and prophets and ancestors--all of your people--from the days when the kings of Assyria first triumphed over us until now." 1 Kings 8:23  ... and he prayed, "O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in  all of heaven above or on the earth below. You keep your covenant and show unfailing love to all who walk before you in wholehearted devotion." (see verses 22-53)

Leviticus 26:40  "But at last my people will confess their sins and the sins of their ancestors for betraying me and being hostile toward me." (see all chapter 26)

Nehemiah 1:7  "We have sinned terribly by not obeying the commands, decrees, and regulations that you gave us through your servant Moses." (see all chapter 1)

Psalm 106:6  Like our ancestors, we have sinned. We have done wrong! We have acted wickedly! (see all Psalm 106)

Isaiah 53:6  All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all. (see all chapter 53)

2 Kings 18:12  For they refused to listen to the LORD their God and obey him. Instead, they violated his covenant--all the laws that Moses the LORD's servant had commanded them to obey. (see verses 9-12)

Lamentations 1:18  "The LORD is right," Jerusalem says, "for I rebelled against him. Listen, people everywhere; look upon my anguish and despair, for my sons and daughters have been taken captive to distant lands." (see verses 8-18)
