Luke 11:33-36 Part 2 of 2

"No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house. Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light. But when it is bad, your body is filled with darkness. Make sure that the light you think you have is not actually darkness. If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light."

Proverbs 4:19  But the way of the wicked is like total darkness. They have no idea what they are stumbling over.

Matthew 6:23  "But when your eye is bad, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!"

John 3:20  "All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed."

1 John 1:6  So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness, we are not practicing the truth.

1 John 2:9  If anyone claims, "I am living in the light," but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is still living in darkness.

1 John 2:11  But anyone who hates another brother or sister is still living and walking in darkness. Such a person does not know the way to go, having been blinded by the darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:6  For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," (see Genesis 1:1-5) has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 5:8-9  For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.

1 John 1:7  But if we are living in the light as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 2:10  Anyone who loves another brother or sister is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble.
