Psalm 107:13-16 Part 2 of 2

"LORD, help!" they cried in their trouble,
    and he saved them from their distress.
He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom;
    he snapped their chains.
Let them praise the LORD for his great love
    and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
For he broke down their prison gates of bronze;
    he cut apart their bars of iron.

Let them praise the LORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
Psalm 105:1-2
Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness.
    Let the whole world know what he has done.
Sing to him; yes, sing his praises.
    Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.  (see all Psalm 105)
Psalm 75:1
We thank you, O God!
    We give thanks because you are near.
    People everywhere tell of your wonderful deeds..  (see all Psalm 75)
Psalm 77:11-12
But then I recall all you have done, O LORD;
    I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.
They are constantly in my thoughts.
    I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.  (see all Psalm 77)

For he broke down their prison gates of bronze; he cut apart their bars of iron.
Deuteronomy 3:4-5  "We conquered all sixty of his (King Og's) towns--the entire Argob region of his kingdom of Bashan. Not a single town escaped our conquest. These towns were all fortified with high walls and barred gates. We also took many unwalled villages at the same time."  (see verses 1-20)
Isaiah 45:1-2
This is what the LORD says to Cyrus, his anointed one,
    whose right hand he will empower.
Before him, mighty kings will be paralyzed with fear.
    Their fortress gates will be opened never to shut again.
This is what the LORD says:
"I will go before you, Cyrus,
    and level the mountains.
I will smash down gates of bronze
    and cut through bars of iron."  (see all chapter 45)
Jeremiah 1:18-19
"For see, today I have made you strong
    like a fortified city that cannot be captured,
    like an iron pillar or a bronze wall.
You will stand against the whole land--
    the kings, officials, priests and people of Judah.
They will fight you, but they will fail.
    For I am with you, and I will take care of you.
    I, the LORD, have spoken!"  (see all chapter 1)
