Psalm 107:33-38 Part 3 of 3

He changes the rivers into deserts,
and springs of water into dry, thirsty land.
He turns the fruitful land into salty wastelands,
because of the wickedness of those who live there.
But he also turns deserts into pools of water,
and dry land into springs of water.
He brings the hungry to settle there
    and to build their cities.
They sow their fields, plant their vineyards,
    and harvest their bumper crops.
How he blesses them!
    They raise large families there,
and their herds of livestock increase.

They sow their fields, plant their vineyards, and harvest their bumper crops.
2 Kings 19:29  Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Here is the proof that what I say is true:
"This year you will eat only what grows up by itself,
and next year you will eat what springs up from that.
    But in the third year you will plant crops and harvest them;
you will tend vineyards and eat their fruit."
(see verses 20-37, also chapter 37:21-38)
Amos 9:13-15
"The time will come," says the LORD,
"when the grain and grapes will grow faster
    than they can be harvested.
Then the terraced vineyards on the hills of Israel
    will drip with sweet wine!
I will bring my exiled people of Israel
    back from distant lands,
and they will rebuild their ruined cities
    and live in them again.
They will plant vineyards and gardens;
they will eat their crops and drink their wine.
I will firmly plant them there
    in their own land.
They will never again be uprooted
from the land I have given them,"
says the LORD your God.  (see verses 11-15)

How he blesses them! They raise large families there, and their herds of livestock increase.
Genesis 12:2  "I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others."  (see verses 1-9)
Genesis 28:13-14  At the top of the stairway stood the LORD, and he said, "I am the LORD, the God of your grandfather Abraham, and the God of your father Isaac. The ground you are lying on belongs to you. I am giving it to you and your descendants. Your descendants will be as numerous as the dust of the earth! They will spread out in all directions--to the west and the east, to the north and the south. And all the families of the earth will be blessed through you and your descendants."  (see verses 10-22)
Exodus 1:7  But their descendants, the Israelites, had many children and grandchildren. In fact, they multiplied so greatly that they became extremely powerful and filled the land.  (see all chapter 1)
Deuteronomy 7:13  "He will love you and bless you, and he will give you many children. He will give fertility to your land and your animals. When you arrive in the land he swore to give your ancestors, you will have large harvests of grain, new wine, and olive oil, and great herds of cattle, sheep and goats."  (see all chapter 7)
