"
'What will I do?' the owner asked himself. 'I know! I'll send my
cherished son. Surely they will respect him.' But when the tenant
farmers saw his son, they said to each other, 'Here comes the heir to
this estate. Let's kill him and get the estate for ourselves!' So they
dragged him out of the vineyard and murdered him. What do you suppose
the owner of the vineyard will do to them?" Jesus asked. "I'll tell
you--he will come and kill those farmers and lease the vineyard to
others." "How terrible that such a thing should ever happen," his
listeners protested.

"I'll tell you--he will come and kill those farmers and lease the vineyard to others." "How terrible that such a thing should ever happen," his listeners protested.
Matthew 21:41 The religious leaders replied, "He will put the wicked men to a horrible death and lease the vineyard to others who will give him his share of the crop after each harvest." (see also Mark 12:9b)
Luke 19:27 " 'And as for these enemies of mine who didn't want me to be their king--bring them in and execute them right here in front of me.' " (see verses 11-27)
Matthew 8:11-12 "And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world--from east and west--and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. But many Israelites--those for whom the Kingdom was prepared--will be thrown into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (see verses 5-13)
Acts 13:46-47 Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared, "It was necessary that we first preach the word of God to you Jews. But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we will offer it to the Gentiles. For the Lord gave us this command when he said, 'I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.' (Isaiah 49:6)" (see verses 13-52)
