Luke 21:12-15 Part 2 of 2

"But before all this occurs, there will be a time of great persecution. You will be dragged into synagogues and prisons, and you will stand trial before kings and governors because you are my followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell them about me. So don't worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you, for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you!"

"So don't worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you,"
Matthew 10:19a  "When you are arrested, don't worry about how to respond or what to say."
Mark 13:11a  "But when you are arrested and stand trial, don't worry in advance about what to say."
Luke 12:11  "And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don't worry about how to defend yourself or what to say, ..."
 
"for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you!" 
Exodus 4:11-12  Then the LORD asked Moses, "Who makes a person's mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say." (see chapters 3:1-4:17)
Jeremiah 1:9-10  Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said, "Look, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant." (see verses 4-10)
Matthew 10:19b-20  "God will give you the right words at the right time. For it is not you who will be speaking--it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you."
Mark 13:11b  "Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit."
Luke 12:12  "... for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said."
Acts 6:10  None of them could stand against the wisdom and the Spirit with which Stephen spoke. (see verses 8-15)

Such a comfort to know that no amount of study or inherent wisdom is necessary when the Holy Spirit speaks through us.
