Praise the LORD!

Yes, give praise, O servants of the LORD.

    Praise the name of the LORD!

Blessed be the name of the LORD

    now and forever.

Everywhere--from east to west--

    praise the name of the LORD.

For the LORD is high above the nations;

    his glory is higher than the heavens.

 

Everywhere--from east to west--praise the name of the LORD.

Psalm 50:1  

The LORD, the Mighty One, is God,

    and he has spoken;

he has summoned all humanity

    from where the sun rises to where it sets.  (see all Psalm 50)

Isaiah 24:14-16  

But all who are left shout and sing for joy.

    Those in the west praise the LORD's majesty.

In eastern lands, give glory to the LORD.

    In the lands beyond the sea, praise the name of the LORD, the God 

        of Israel.

We hear songs of praise from the ends of the earth,

    songs that give glory to the Righteous One!  (see all Isaiah 24)

Isaiah 59:19  

In the west, people will respect the name of the LORD;

    in the east, they will glorify him.

For he will come like a raging flood tide

    driven by the breath of the LORD.  (see all Isaiah 59)

Malachi 1:11  "But my name is honored by people of other nations from morning till night. All around the world they offer sweet incense and pure offerings in honor of my name. For my name is great among the nations," 

says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.  (see all Malachi)

O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!

The LORD sits in majesty in Jerusalem,
