Psalm 113:5-9 Part 1 of 2

Who can be compared with the LORD our God,
    who is enthroned on high?
He stoops to look down
    on heaven and on earth.
He lifts the poor from the dust
and the needy from the garbage dump.
He sets them among princes,
even the princes of his own people!
He gives the childless woman a family,
    making her a happy mother.
Praise the LORD!

Who can be compared with the LORD our God, who is enthroned on high?
Exodus 8:10  "Do it tomorrow," Pharaoh said.
"All right," Moses replied, "it will be as you have said. Then you will know that there is no one like the LORD our God."  (see Exodus 8:1-15)
Psalm 35:10
With every bone in my body I will praise him:
"LORD, who can compare with you?
Who else rescues the helpless from the strong?
Who else protects the helpless and poor from those who rob them?"
    (see all Psalm 35)
Psalm 89:6-8
For who in all heaven can compare with the LORD?
What mightiest angel is anything like the LORD?
The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God.
He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne.
You are entirely faithful.  (see all Psalm 89)
Psalm 103:19
The LORD has made the heavens his throne;
from there he rules over everything.  (see all Psalm 103)

He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth.
Psalm 11:4
But the LORD is in his holy Temple;
the LORD still rules from heaven.
He watches everyone closely,
examining every person on earth.  (see all Psalm 11)
Isaiah 57:15
The high and lofty one who lives in eternity,
    the Holy One, says this:
"I live in the high and holy place
with those whose spirits are contrite and humble.
I restore the crushed spirit of the humble
and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts."
    (see all Isaiah 57)
