Luke 2:27-32 Part 2 of 3

That day the Spirit led him to the Temple. So when Mary and Joseph came to present the baby Jesus to the Lord as the law required, Simeon was there. He took the child in his arms and praised God, saying, "Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace, as you have promised. I have seen your salvation, which you have prepared for all people. He is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!"

"I have seen your salvation,"

Isaiah 40:5  "Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The LORD has spoken!"

Isaiah 52:10  The LORD has demonstrated his holy power before the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth will see the victory of our God.

Luke 3:6  " 'And then all people will see the salvation sent from God.' " 

"which you have prepared for all people." 

Psalm 98:2  The LORD has announced his victory and has revealed his righteousness to every nation!

Luke 24:46-48  And he (Jesus) said, "Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day. It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: 'There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.' You are witnesses of all these things."
