Luke 2:39-40

When Jesus' parents had fulfilled all the requirements of the law of the Lord, they returned home to Nazareth in Galilee. There the child grew up healthy and strong. He was filled with wisdom, and God's favor was on him.

When Jesus' parents had fulfilled all the requirements of the law of the Lord,
Luke 2:23-24  The law of the Lord says, "If a woman's first child is a boy, he must be dedicated to the LORD." (Exodus 13:2) So they offered the sacrifice required in the law of the Lord--"either a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons." (Leviticus 12:8)

they returned home to Nazareth in Galilee.
Matthew 2:23   So the family went and lived in a town called Nazareth. This fulfilled what the prophets had said: "He will be called a Nazarene."
Mark 1:9  One day Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and John baptized him in the Jordan River.
Mark 6:1  Jesus left that part of the country and returned with his disciples to Nazareth, his hometown.
Luke 4:16  When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the Scriptures.
John 1:45-46  Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him, "We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth."  "Nazareth!" exclaimed Nathanael, "Can anything good come from Nazareth?"  "Come and see for yourself," Philip replied.

He was filled with wisdom, and God's favor was on him.
Luke 2:57  Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.
Luke 3:21-22  One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, "You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy."
