Luke 6:35-36 Part 1 of 2

"Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate."

"Love your enemies! Do good to them." 

Luke 6:27  "But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you."

Matthew 5:44  "But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!"

"and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High,"

Romans 8:15-16  So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father." For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children.

Ephesians 5:1  Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.

1 John 3:1-2  See how much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know him. Dear friends, we are already God's children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

Revelation 21:7  "All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children."
