Luke 7:16-17 Part 2 of 2

Great fear swept the crowd, and they praised God, saying, "A mighty prophet has risen among us," and "God has visited his people today." And the news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding countryside.

saying, "A mighty prophet has risen among us,"
Deuteronomy 18:15  Moses continued, "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him." (Deuteronomy 18:15-22)
Matthew 21:11  And the crowds replied, "It's Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee." (Matthew 21:1-11) 
John 6:14  When the people saw him do this miraculous sign, they exclaimed, "Surely, he is the Prophet we have been expecting!" (John 6:1-15)

Matthew 4:24-25  News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed--he healed them all. Large crowds followed him wherever he went--people from Galilee, the Ten Towns, Jerusalem, from all over Judea, and from east of the Jordan River.
Matthew 9:26  The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside. (Matthew 9:18-26)
Mark 1:28  The news about Jesus spread quickly throughout the entire region of Galilee. (Mark 1:21-28)
Mark 1:45  But the man went and spread the word, proclaiming to everyone what had happened. As a result, large crowds soon surrounded Jesus, and he couldn't publicly enter a town anywhere. He had to stay out in the secluded places, but people from everywhere kept coming to him. (Mark 1:40-45)

Luke 5:15  But despite Jesus' instructions, the report of his power spread even faster, and vast crowds came to hear him preach and to be healed of their diseases. (Luke 5:12-16)
