Habakkuk 2:2-3 Part 1 of 2

Then the LORD said to me, "Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed."

Then the LORD said to me, "Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others."

Isaiah 30:8-9  Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. they will stand until the end of time as a witness that these people are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to the LORD's instructions. (see verses 8-17)

Ezekiel 24:2  "Son of man, write down today's date, because on this very day the king of Babylon is beginning his attack against Jerusalem." (see verses 1-14)

Romans 15:4  Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled. (see verses 1-6)

1 Corinthians 10:11  These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age. (see verses 1-11)

2 Timothy 3:16-17  All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do very good work.

Revelation 1:19  "Write down what you have seen--both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen." (see verses 9-20)

 

"This vision is for a future time." 

Daniel 11:27  "Seeking nothing but each other's harm, these kings will plot against each other at the conference table, attempting to deceive each other. But it will make no difference, for the end will come at the appointed time." (see all chapter 11)

 

"It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled." 

Daniel 8:17  As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground. "Son of man," he said, "you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end." (see all of chapter 8)

Daniel 10:14  "Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to come." (see all chapter 10)

Ezekiel 7:5-6  "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Disaster after disaster is coming your way! The end has come. It has finally arrived. Your final doom is waiting!" (see all chapter 7)
