Luke 24:4-8 Part 1 of 2

As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, "Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn't here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day." Then they remembered that he had said this.

John 20:12  She saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying. (see verses 11-12)
Acts 1:10  As they strained to see him rise into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. (see verses 9-11)

Luke 24:22-23  "Then some women from our group of his followers were at his tomb early this morning, and they came back with an amazing report. They said his body was missing, and they had seen angels who told them Jesus is alive!"
Acts 1:3  During the forty days after his crucifixion, he appeared to the apostles from time to time, and he proved to them in many ways that he was actually alive. And he talked with them about the Kingdom of God. (see verses 1-3)

Mark 9:31b  He said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of his enemies. He will be killed, but three days later he will rise from the dead." (see verses 30-32)
Luke 18:33  "They will flog him with a whip and kill him, but on the third day he will rise again." (see verses 31-34)
