Luke 24:46-48 Part 2 of 2

And he said, "Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise again on the third day. It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: 'There is forgiveness of sin for all who repent.' You are witnesses of these things."

"It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: 'There is forgiveness of sin for all who repent.' "
Psalm 22:27  The whole earth will acknowledge the LORD and return to him. All the families of the nations will bow down before him. (see verses 22-31)
Isaiah 49:5-6  And now the LORD speaks--the one who formed me in my mother's womb to be his servant, who commissioned me to bring Israel back to him. The LORD has honored me, and my God has given me strength. He says, "You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me. I will make you a light to the Gentiles, and you will bring my salvation to the ends of the earth." (see verses 1-7)
Matthew 28:19  "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." (see verses 16-20, also Mark 13:9-10)
Mark 16:15-16  And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned." (see also Acts 1:8, 10:42-43)

"You are witnesses of all these things."
John 21:24  This disciple is the one who testifies to these events and has recorded them here. And we know that his account of these things is accurate. (see verses 20-23, also all of the book of John)
1 John 1:1-3  We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then was revealed to us. We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:32  "God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this." (see all chapter 2)
Acts 3:15  "You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact!" (see all chapter 3)
