Habakkuk 2:2-3 Part 2 of 2

Then the LORD said to me, "Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed."

"If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,"
Psalm 27:14  Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD. (see all chapter 27)
Isaiah 8:17  I will wait for the LORD, who has turned away from the descendants of Jacob. I will put my hope in him. (see verses 5-22)
Zephaniah 3:8  "Therefore, be patient," says the LORD. "Soon I will stand and accuse these evil nations. For I have decided to gather the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by the fire of my jealousy." (see verses 1-8)

"for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed."
Ezekiel 12:25  "For I am the LORD! If I say it, it will happen. There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel. I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own lifetime. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!" (see verses 21-28)
Isaiah 14:24  The LORD of Heaven's Armies has sworn this oath: "It will all happen as I have planned. It will be as I have decided." (see verses 24-27)
Isaiah 46:10-11  "Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. I will call a swift bird of prey from the east--a leader from a distant land to come and do my bidding. I have said what I would do, and I will do it." (see all chapter 46)
Jeremiah 16:9  "For this is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies, the God of Israel, says: In your own lifetime, before your very eyes, I will put an end to the happy singing and laughter in this land. The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard." (see verses 5-13)
Hebrews 10:37  "For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay." (see verses 19-39)
2 Peter 3:3-4  Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, "What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created."
2 Peter 3:8-9  But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. (see all chapter 3)
