GIMEL
Be good to your servant,
that I may live and obey your word.
Open my eyes to see
the wonderful truths in your instructions.
I am only a foreigner in the land.
Don't hide your commands from me!
I am always overwhelmed
with a desire for your regulations.
You rebuke the arrogant,
those who wander from your commands are cursed.
Don't let them scorn and insult me,
for I have obeyed your laws.
Even princes sit and speak against me,
but i will meditate on your decrees.
Your laws please me,
they give me wise advice.
You rebuke the arrogant, those who wander from your commands are cursed.
Deuteronomy 27:26
" 'Cursed is anyone who does not affirm and obey the terms of these instructions.' And all the people will reply, 'Amen.' " (see Deuteronomy 17:11-26)

Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence,
for you hate all who do evil. (see all Psalm 5)
Jeremiah 20:7
O LORD, you misled me,
and I allowed myself to be misled.
You are stronger than I am,
and you overpowered me.
Now I am mocked every day;
everyone laughs at me. (see all Jeremiah 19-20)
Jeremiah 50:31-32
"See, I am your enemy, you arrogant people,"
says the Lord, the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
"Your day of reckoning has arrived--
the day when I will punish you.
O Land of arrogance, you will stumble and fall,
and no one will raise you up.
For I will light a fire in the cities of Babylon
that will burn up everything around them." (see all Jeremiah 50)
Daniel 4:37
"Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of Heaven. All his acts are just and true and he is able to humble the proud."
(see all Daniel 4)
