Psalm 119:25-32 Part 4

            DALETH
I lie in the dust;
    revive me by your word.
I told you my plans, and you answered.
    Now teach me your decrees.
Help me understand the meaning of your commandments,
    and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds.
I weep with sorrow;
    encourage me by your word.
Keep me from lying to myself;
    give me the privilege of knowing your instructions.
I have chosen to be faithful;
    I have determined to live by your regulations.
I cling to your laws.
    LORD, don't let me be put to shame.
I will pursue your commands,
    for you expand my understanding.

I cling to your laws. LORD, don't let me be put to shame.
Deuteronomy 10:20
"You must fear the LORD your God and worship him and cling to him. Your oaths must be in his name alone."  (see Deuteronomy 10:12-22)
Deuteronomy 11:22
    "Be careful to obey all these commands I am giving you. Show love to the LORD your God by walking in his ways and holding tightly to him."
(see Deuteronomy 11:8-32)
Deuteronomy 13:4
"Serve only the LORD your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him."  (see all Deuteronomy 13)
Joshua 23:8
Rather, cling tightly to the LORD your God as you have done until now.
(see all Joshua 23)
Psalm 34:4-5
I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me.
    He freed me from all my fears.
Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
    no shadow of shame will darken their faces.  (see all Psalm 34)
1 John 2:28
    And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back in shame.
(see 1 John 2:15-29)
