Psalm 119:33-40 Part 1

                    HE

Teach me your decrees, O LORD;

    I will keep them to the end.

Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions;

    I will put them into practice with all my heart.

Make me walk along the path of your commands,

    for that is where my happiness is found.

Give me an eagerness for your laws

    rather than a love for money!

Turn my eyes from worthless things,

    and give me life through your word.

Reassure me of your promise,

    made to those who fear you.

Help me abandon my shameful ways;

    for your regulations are good.

I long to obey your commandments!

    Renew my life with your goodness. 

 

Teach me your decrees, O LORD; I will keep them to the end.

Ezekiel 44:24 

    "They will serve as judges to resolve any disagreements among my people. Their decisions must be based on my regulations. And the priests themselves must obey my instructions and decrees at all the sacred festivals, and see to it that the Sabbaths are set apart as holy days."  (see Ezekiel 44:15-24)

 

Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will put them into practice with all my heart.

Help me understand the meaning of your commandments,

    and I will meditate on your wonderful deeds.

Psalm 119:144  

Your laws are always right;

    help me to understand them so I may live.

Proverbs 2:6  

For the LORD grants wisdom!
