Psalm 119:9-16 Part 6

            BETH
How can a young person stay pure?
    By obeying your word.
I have tried hard to find you--
    don't let me wander from your commands.
I have hidden your word in my heart,
    that I might not sin against you.
I praise you, O LORD;
    teach me your decrees.
I have recited aloud
    all the regulations you have given us.
I have rejoiced in your laws
    as much as in riches.
I will study your commandments
    and reflect on your ways.
I will delight in your decrees
    and not forget your word.

I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches.
Psalm 119:111
Your laws are my treasure;
    they are my heart's delight.  (see Psalm 119:105-112)
Psalm 119:127
Truly, I love your commands
    more than gold, even the finest gold.  (see Psalm 119:121-128)
Proverbs 2:14-15
For wisdom is more profitable than silver,
    and her wages are better than gold.
Wisdom is more precious than rubies;
    nothing you desire can compare with her.  (see Proverbs 3:13-20)
Proverbs 8:10-11
Choose my instruction rather than silver,
    and knowledge rather than pure gold.
For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies.
    Nothing you desire can compare with it.
Proverbs 8:19
My gifts are better than gold, even purest gold,
    my wages are better than sterling silver!  (see all Proverbs 8)
