Psalm 119:9-16 Part 7

            BETH
How can a young person stay pure?
    By obeying your word.
I have tried hard to find you--
    don't let me wander from your commands.
I have hidden your word in my heart,
    that I might not sin against you.
I praise you, O LORD;
    teach me your decrees.
I have recited aloud
    all the regulations you have given us.
I have rejoiced in your laws
    as much as in riches.
I will study your commandments
    and reflect on your ways.
I will delight in your decrees
    and not forget your word.

I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways.
Psalm 1:2
But they delight in the law of the LORD,
    meditating on it day and night.  (see all Psalm 1)
Exodus 33:13
"If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor. And remember that this nation is your very own people."  (see all Exodus 33)
Deuteronomy 32:4
"He is the Rock, his deeds are perfect.
    Everything he does is just and fair.
He is a faithful God who does no wrong;
    how just and upright he is!"  (see Deuteronomy 32:1-4)
Psalm 77:13
O God, your ways are holy.
    Is there any god as mighty as you?  (see all Psalm 77)
Psalm 145:17
The LORD is righteous in everything he does;
    he is filled with kindness.  (see all Psalm 145)
Isaiah 2:3
People from many nations will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
    to the house of Jacob's God.
There he will teach us his ways,
    and we will walk in his paths."
For the LORD's teaching will go out from Zion;
    his word will go out from Jerusalem.  (see Isaiah 2:1-4)
Hosea 14:9
Let those who are wise understand these things.
    Let those with discernment listen carefully.
The paths of the LORD are true and right,
    and righteous people live by walking in them.
    But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.  (see all Hosea 14)
