Luke 5:8-11 Part 3 of 3

When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, "Oh Lord, please leave me--I'm too much of a sinner to be around you." For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him. His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed. Jesus replied to Simon, "Don't be afraid! From now on you'll be fishing for people!"  And as soon as they landed, they left everything and followed Jesus.

Matthew 8:22  But Jesus told him, "Follow me now. Let the spiritually dead bury their own dead."

Matthew 19:27-28  Then Peter said to him, "We've given up everything to follow you. What will we get?" Jesus replied, "I assure you that when the world is made new and the Son of Man sits upon his glorious throne, you who have been my followers will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

Mark 10:21  Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. "There is still one thing you haven't done," he told him. "Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

Mark 10:28  Then Peter began to speak up. "We've given up everything to follow you," he said.

Mark 10:52  And Jesus said to him, "Go, for your faith has healed you." Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.

John 1:43  The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, "Come follow me."

John 21:19  Jesus said this to let him know by what kind of death he would glorify God. Then Jesus told him, "Follow me."

John 21:22  Jesus replied, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me."
