Luke 6:12-16 Part 1 of 4

One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night. At daybreak he called together all of his disciples and chose twelve of them to be apostles. Here are their names: Simon (whom he named Peter); Andrew (Peter's brother), James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James (son of Alphaeus), Simon (who was called the zealot), Judas (son of James), Judas Iscariot (who later betrayed him).

One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.
Luke 3:21-22  One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, "You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy."
Matthew 14:23  After sending them (the people) home, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Night fell while he was there alone.
Mark 1:35  Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray. 
Mark 6:46  After telling everyone good-bye, he went up into the hills by himself to pray.
Luke 5:16  But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.
Luke 9:18  One day Jesus left the crowds to pray alone. Only his disciples were with him, and he asked them, "Who do people say I am?"
Luke 9:28  About eight days later Jesus took Peter, John and James up on a mountain to pray.
Luke 11:1  Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
