Luke 3:21-22 Part 1 of 2

One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, "You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy."
 
One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized.
Matthew 3:13-15  Then Jesus went from Galilee to the Jordan River to be baptized by John. But John tried to talk him out of it. "I'm the one who needs to be baptized by you," he said, "so why are you coming to me?" But Jesus said, "It should be done, for we must carry out all that God requires." So John agreed to baptize him.
Mark 1:9  One day Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and John baptized him in the Jordan River.

As he was praying 
Matthew 14:23  After sending them home, he went up into the hills by himself to pray. Night fell while he was there alone.
Mark 1:35  Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.
Mark 6:46  After telling everyone good-bye, he went up into the hills by himself to pray.
Luke 5:16  But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness to pray.
Luke 6:12  One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.
Luke 9:18  One day Jesus left the crowds to pray alone. Only his disciples were with him, and he asked them, "Who do people say I am?"
Luke 9:28  About eight days later Jesus took Peter, John and James up on a mountain to pray.
Luke 11:1  Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
