Luke 4:5-8 Part 1 of 2

Then the devil took him up and revealed to him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. "I will give you the glory of these kingdoms and authority over them," the devil said, "because they are mine to give to anyone I please. I will give it all to you if you will worship me." Jesus replied, "The Scriptures say, 'You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.' "

 

Then the devil took him up and revealed to him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Matthew 4:8  Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

2 Kings 19:15  And Hezekiah prayed this prayer before the LORD: "O LORD, God of Israel, you are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth." (see also Isaiah 37:16)

2 Kings 19:19  "Now, O LORD our God, rescue us from his power; then all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you alone, O LORD, are God." (see also Isaiah 37:20)

Psalm 68:32  Sing to God, you kingdoms of the earth. Sing praises to the Lord. 

Daniel 4:17  "For this has been decreed by the messengers (the watchers); it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses--even to the lowliest of people."

Zephaniah 3:8  "Therefore be patient," says the LORD. "Soon I will stand and accuse these evil nations. For I have decided to gather the kingdoms of the earth and pour out my fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by the fire of my jealousy."

Revelation 13:2  This beast looked like a leopard, but it had the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion! And the dragon gave the beast his own power and throne and great authority.
