Luke 4:33-35 Part 2 of 2

Once when he was in the synagogue, a man possessed by a demon--an evil spirit--began shouting at Jesus, "Go away! Why are you interfering with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!" Jesus cut him short. "Be quiet! Come out of the man," he ordered. At that, the demon threw the man to the floor as the crowd watched; then it came out of him without hurting him further.

"I know who you are--the Holy One of God!"
James 2:19  You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.
Isaiah 41:14  " 'Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don't be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the LORD, your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.' "
John 6:68-69  Simon Peter replied, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have words that give eternal life. We believe, and we know you are the Holy One of God."  
 
Jesus cut him short. "Be quiet! Come out of the man," he ordered. 
Mark 1:27  Amazement gripped the audience, and they began to discuss what had happened. "What sort of new teaching is this?" they asked excitedly. "It has such authority! Even evil spirits obey his orders!"
Mark 3:11-12  And whenever those possessed by evil spirits caught sight of him, the spirits would throw them to the ground in front of him shrieking, "You are the Son of God!" But Jesus sternly commanded the spirits not to reveal who he was.
Luke 4:41  Many were possessed by demons; and the demons came out at his command, shouting, "You are the Son of God!" But because they knew he was the Messiah, he rebuked them and refused to let them speak.
