Luke 3:21-22 Part 2 of 2

One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, "You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy."

Isaiah 42:1  "Look at my servant, whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, who pleases me. I have put my Spirit upon him. He will bring justice to the nations."

Matthew 3:16  After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him.

Mark 1:10  As Jesus came up out of the water, he saw the heavens splitting apart and the Holy Spirit descending on him like a dove.

John 1:32-34  Then John testified, "I saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove from heaven and resting upon him. I didn't know he was the one, but when God sent me to baptize with water, he told me, 'The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Chosen One of God." 

Acts 7:56  And he (Stephen) told them, "Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing in the place of honor at God's right hand!"

 

And a voice from heaven said, "You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy." 

Matthew 3:17  And a voice from heaven said, "This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy." 

Mark 1:11  And a voice from heaven said, "You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy."

Luke 9:38  Then a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, my Chosen One. Listen to him."

John 12:28  "Father, bring glory to your name." Then a voice spoke from heaven, saying, "I have already brought glory to my name, and I will do it again."

2 Peter 1:16-17  For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes when he received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice from the majestic glory of God said to him, "This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy."
