Malachi 2:11-12

Judah has been unfaithful, and a detestable thing has been done in Israel and in Jerusalem. The men of Judah have defiled the LORD's beloved sanctuary by marrying women who worship idols. May the LORD cut off from the nation of Israel every last man who has done this and yet brings an offering to the LORD of Heaven's Armies.

Judah has been unfaithful, and a detestable thing has been done in Israel and in Jerusalem.

Ezra 9:1  When these things had been done (see chapter 8), the Jewish leaders came to me and said, "Many of the people of Israel, even some of the priests and Levites, have not kept themselves separate from the other peoples living in the land. They have taken up the detestable practices of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites."

 

The men of Judah have defiled the LORD's beloved sanctuary by marrying women who worship idols. 

Ezra 9:2  "For the men of Israel have married women from these people and have taken them as wives for their sons. So the holy race has become polluted by these mixed marriages. Worse yet, the leaders and officials have led the way in this outrage." (see all chapter 9)

Nehemiah 13:23  About the same time I realized that some of the men of Judah had married women from Ashdod, Ammon and Moab. (see verses 23-31)

Exodus 34:16  "Then you will accept their daughters, who sacrifice to other gods, as wives for your sons. And they will seduce your sons to commit adultery against me by worshiping other gods." (see verses 10-17)

Jeremiah 3:6  During the reign of King Josiah, the LORD said to me, "Have you seen what fickle Israel has done? Like a wife who commits adultery, Israel has worshiped other gods on every hill and under every green tree." (see verses 1-10)

 

May the LORD cut off from the nation of Israel every last man who has done this 

1 Samuel 2:30-31  "Therefore, the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I promised that your branch of the tribe of Levi would always be my priests. But I will honor those who honor me, and I will despise those who think lightly of me. The time is coming when I will put an end to your family, so it will no longer serve as my priests. All the members of your family will die before their time. None will reach old age." (see verses 12-36)

Ezekiel 24:20-21  So I said to them, "A message came to me from the LORD, and I was told to give this message to the people of Israel. This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will defile my Temple, the source of your security and pride, the place your heart delights in. Your sons and daughters whom you left behind in Judah will be slaughtered by the sword." (see chapters 22-24)

 

and yet brings an offering to the LORD of Heaven's Armies. 

Malachi 1:10  "How I wish one of you would shut the Temple doors so that these worthless sacrifices could not be offered! I am not pleased with you," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "and I will not accept your offerings." (see verses 6-14)
