Malachi 2:1-2 Part 2 of 2

"Listen, you priests--this command is for you! Listen to me and make up your minds to honor my name," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "or I will bring a terrible curse against you. I will curse even the blessings you receive. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you have not taken my warning to heart."

"or I will bring a terrible curse against you."
Deuteronomy 11:26  "Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse!" (see verses 22-28, also Deuteronomy 27:13-26, 30:1,15,19)
Deuteronomy 28:20  "The LORD himself will send on you curses, confusion, and frustration in everything you do, until at last you are completely destroyed for doing evil and abandoning me." (see all chapter 28)
Jeremiah 42:18  "This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies, the God of Israel, says, 'Just as my anger and fury have been poured out on the people of Jerusalem, so they will be poured out on you when you enter Egypt. You will be an object of damnation, horror, cursing, and mockery. And you will never see your homeland again.' " (see all chapters 42-44)
Daniel 9:11-14  "All Israel has disobeyed your instruction and turned away, refusing to listen to your voice. So now the solemn curses and judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured down on us because of our sin. You have kept your word and done to us and our rulers exactly as you warned. Never has there been such a disaster as happened in Jerusalem. Every curse written against us in the Law of Moses has come true. Yet we have refused to seek mercy from the LORD our God by turning from our sins and recognizing his truth. Therefore, the LORD has brought upon us the disaster he prepared. The LORD our God was right to do all these things, for we did not obey him." (see verses 1-19)
Malachi 3:9  "You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me." (see verses 6-12)

"I will curse even the blessings you receive. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you have not taken my warning to heart."
Numbers 6:23-27  "Tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with this special blessing:
        'May the LORD bless you
            and protect you.
May the LORD smile on you
            and be gracious to you.
May the LORD show you his favor
            and give you his peace.'
Whenever Aaron and his sons bless the people of Israel in my name, I myself will bless them." (see Deuteronomy 21:5, 28:3-6, 1 Chronicles 28:13, Psalm 80:3, 7, 19)
