Malachi 3:4-5 Part 1 of 2

"Then once more the LORD will accept the offerings brought to him by the people of Judah and Jerusalem, as he did in the past.
At that time I will put you on trial. I am eager to witness against all the sorcerers and adulterers and liars. I will speak against those who cheat employees of their wages, who oppress widows and orphans, or who deprive the foreigners living among you of justice, for these people do not fear me," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
 
"Then once more the LORD will accept the offerings brought to him by the people of Judah and Jerusalem, as he did in the past."
2 Chronicles 7:12  Then one night the LORD appeared to Solomon and said, "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this Temple as the place for making sacrifices." (see all chapter 6)
2 Chronicles 7:1  When Solomon finished praying, fire flashed down from heaven and burned up the burnt offerings and sacrifices, and the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple. (see all chapter 7)
Psalm 51:19  Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit--with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings. Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar. (see all Psalm 51)

Exodus 7:11  Then Pharaoh called in his own wise men and sorcerers, and these Egyptian magicians did the same thing with their magic. (see verses 8-13)
Isaiah 47:9  "Well, both these things will come upon you in a moment: widowhood and the loss of your children. Yes, these calamities will come upon you despite all your witchcraft and magic." (see all chapter 47)
Exodus 20:14  "You must not commit adultery."
James 2:11  For the same God who said, "You must not commit adultery," also said, "You must not murder." So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law. (see verses 1-13)
2 Peter 2:14  They commit adultery with their eyes, and their desire for sin is never satisfied. They lure unstable people into sin, and they are well trained in greed. They live under God's curse. (see all chapter 2)
Jeremiah 7:9-10  " 'Do you really think you can steal, murder, commit adultery, lie, and burn incense to Baal and all those other new gods of yours, and then come here and stand before me in my Temple and chant, "We are safe!"--only to go right back to all those evils again?' " (see verses 1-15)
Leviticus 19:11-12  "Do not steal. Do not deceive or cheat one another. Do not bring shame on the name of your God by using it to swear falsely. I am the LORD." (see verses 1-18)
