Malachi 2:13-14

Here is another thing that you do. You cover the LORD's altar with tears, weeping and groaning because he pays no attention to your offerings and doesn't accept them with pleasure. You cry out, "Why doesn't the LORD accept my worship?" I'll tell you why! Because the LORD witnessed the vows you and your wife made when you were young. But you have been unfaithful to her, though she remained your faithful partner, the wife of your marriage vows.

Here is another thing that you do. You cover the LORD's altar with tears, weeping and groaning
Jeremiah 11:11  "Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I am going to bring calamity upon them, and they will not escape. Though they beg for mercy, I will not listen to their cries." (see verses 6-14)
Psalm 39:12  Hear my prayer, O LORD! Listen to my cries for help! Do not ignore my tears. For I am your guest--a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me. (see all Psalm 39)

because he pays no attention to your offerings and doesn't accept them with pleasure.
Psalm 66:18  If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the LORD would not have listened. (see verses 16-20)
Isaiah 58:2  "Yet they act so pious! They come to the Temple every day and seem delighted to learn all about me. They act like a righteous nation that would never abandon the laws of its God. They ask me to take action on their behalf, pretending they want to be near me." (see all chapter 58)
Jeremiah 14:11-12  Then the LORD said to me, "Do not pray for these people anymore. When they fast, I will pay no attention. When they present their burnt offerings and grain offerings to me, I will not accept them. Instead, I will devour them with war, famine, and disease." (see all chapter 14)

You cry out, "Why doesn't the LORD accept my worship?" I'll tell you why! Because the LORD witnessed the vows you and your wife made when you were young.
Jeremiah 11:10  "They have returned to the sins of their ancestors. They have refused to listen to me and are worshiping other gods. Israel and Judah have both broken the covenant I made with their ancestors."
Ezekiel 16:8  "And when I passed by again, I saw that you were old enough for love. so I wrapped my cloak around you to cover your nakedness and declared my marriage vows. I made a covenant with you, says the Sovereign LORD, and you became mine." (see verses 1-14)
Ezekiel 16:59  "Now this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will give you what you deserve, for you have taken your solemn vows lightly by breaking your covenant." (see verses 15-63)
Hebrews 13:4  Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.
