Malachi 3:16-18 Part 2 of 2

    Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.

    "They will be my people," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. "On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child. Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not."

Nehemiah 13:22  Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and to guard the gates in order to preserve the holiness of the Sabbath.

        Remember this good deed also, O my God! Have compassion on

        me according to your great and unfailing love. (see verses 10-22)

Psalm 103:13  The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. (see verses 7-18)

Isaiah 26:20

        Go home, my people

            and lock your doors!

        Hide yourselves for a little while

            until the LORD's anger has passed. (see all chapter 26)

Luke 15:20  "So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him and kissed him." (see verses 11-32)

Romans 8:29  For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (see all chapter 8)

 

"Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not." 

Genesis 18:25  "Surely you wouldn't do such a thing, destroying the righteous along with the wicked. Why, you would be treating the righteous and the wicked exactly the same! Surely you wouldn't do that! Should not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?" (see verses 16-33)

Matthew 25:31-34  "But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

    "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.' "

Matthew 25:41  "Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, 'Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.' "

Matthew 25:46  "And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life." (see verses 31-46)
