Malachi 3:16-18 Part 1 of 2

    Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name.

    "They will be my people," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. "On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child. Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not."

 

Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said.

Psalm 33:18-19

        But the LORD watches over those who fear him,

            those who rely on his unfailing love.

        He rescues them from death

            and keeps them alive in times of famine. (see verses 13-19)

Psalm 34:15

        The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right;

            his ears are open to their cries for help. (see verses 15-18)

Psalm 56:8  You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. (see all Psalm 56)

Luke 10:20  "But don't rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven." (see verses 16-20)

Proverbs 1:7  Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (see verses 1-7)

Revelation 11:18

        "The nations were filled with wrath,

             but now the time of your wrath has come.

        It is time to judge the dead

            and reward your servants the prophets,

            as well as your holy people,

        and all who fear your name,

            from the least to the greatest.

        It is time to destroy

            all who have caused destruction on earth." (see verses 15-19)

         "I have made Israel for myself,

            and they will someday honor me before the whole world."

Then you will know that I am the LORD and that I am present even in the heart of your land. I will make a clear distinction between my people and your people. Deuteronomy 7:6  "For you are a holy people, who belong to the LORD your God. Of all the people on earth, the LORD your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure." (see all chapter 7)

Titus 2:14  He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. (see verses 11-14)
