Malachi 3:10-12 Part 1 of 2

"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. "Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight," says the LORD of Heaven's armies.

 

"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple."

Exodus 22:29a  "You must not hold anything back when you give me offerings from your crops and your wine."

Exodus 23:16  "Second, celebrate the Festival of Harvest, when you bring me the first crops of your harvest. Finally, celebrate the Festival of the Final Harvest at the end of the harvest season, when you have harvested all the crops from your fields." (see verses 13-17)

Exodus 23:19a  "As you harvest your crops bring the very best of the first harvest to the house of the LORD your God."

2 Chronicles 31:11  Hezekiah ordered that the storerooms be prepared in the Temple of the LORD.

Nehemiah 10:35  "We promise to bring the first part of every harvest to the LORD's Temple year after year--whether it be a crop from the soil or from the our fruit trees."

Nehemiah 10:37  "We will store the produce in the storerooms of the Temple of our God. We will bring the best of our flour and grain offerings, the best of our fruit, and the best of our new wine and olive oil. And we promise to bring to the Levites a tenth of everything our land produces, for it is the Levites who collect the tithes in all our rural towns." (see verses 35-39)

Nehemiah 13:12  And once more all the people of Judah began bringing their tithes of grain, new wine, and olive oil to the Temple storerooms. (see verses 1-14, also 12:44)

"If you do, says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!" 

Joel 2:14  Who knows? Perhaps he will give you a reprieve, sending you a blessing instead of this curse. Perhaps you will be able to offer grain and wine to the LORD your God as before. (see verses 12-14)

2 Kings 7:1-2  Elisha replied, "Listen to this message from the LORD! This is what the LORD says: By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost only one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost only one piece of silver."

    The officer assisting the king said to the man of God, "That couldn't happen even if the LORD opened the windows of heaven!"

    But Elisha replied, "You will see it happen with your own eyes, but you won't be able to eat any of it!" (see verses 6:24-7:20)

Joel 2:24  The threshing floors will again be piled high with grain, and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil. (see verses 18-27)

2 Corinthians 9:8  And God will generously provide all you need and plenty left over to share with others. (see all chapter 9)
