Malachi 2:15-17 Part 2 of 2

Didn't the LORD make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth. "For I hate divorce!" says the LORD, the God of Israel. "To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. "So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife."
You have wearied the LORD with your words. "How have we wearied him," you ask. You have wearied him by saying that all who do evil are good in the LORD's sight, and he is pleased with them. You have wearied him by asking, "Where is the God of justice?"

You have wearied the LORD with your words. "How have we wearied him," you ask.
Isaiah 1:13-14  "Stop bringing me your meaningless gifts; the incense of your offerings disgusts me! As for your celebrations of the new moon and the Sabbath and your special days for fasting--they are all sinful and false. I want no more of your pious meetings. I hate your new moon celebrations and your annual festivals. They are a burden to me. I cannot stand them!" (see verses 2-20)

You have wearied him by saying that all who do evil are good in the LORD's sight, and he is pleased with them.
Psalm 5:4  O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness; you cannot tolerate the sins of the wicked. (see all Psalm 5)
Isaiah 5:20  What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. (see verses 18-24)
Zephaniah 1:12  "I will search with lanterns in Jerusalem's darkest corners to punish those who sit complacent in their sins. They think the LORD will do nothing to them, either good or bad." (see all chapter 1)

You have wearied him by asking, "Where is the God of justice?"
Genesis 18:25  "Surely you wouldn't do such a thing, destroying the righteous along with the wicked. Why, you would be treating the righteous and the wicked exactly the same! Surely you wouldn't do that! Should not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?" (see verses 18:16-19:29)
Ezekiel 18:25  "Yet you say, 'The LORD isn't doing what's right!' Listen to me, O people of Israel. Am I the one not doing what's right, or is it you?" (see verses 23-32)
