O LORD, how long will this go on?
Will you hide yourself forever?
How long will your anger burn like fire?
Remember how short my life is,
how empty and futile this human existence!
No one can live forever; all will die.

2 Kings 2:11-12 As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a chariot of fire appeared, drawn by horses of fire. "Please, LORD, save me!"
How kind the LORD is! How good he is!
So merciful, this God of ours!
The LORD protects those of childlike faith;
