Psalm 89:38-40

But now you have rejected him and cast him off.
    You are angry with your anointed king.
You have renounced your covenant with him;
    you have thrown his crown in the dust.
You have broken down the walls protecting him
    and ruined every fort defending him.

1 Chronicles 28:9  "And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will forsake you forever."  (see all chapter 28)

But now you have tossed us aside in dishonor.

Isaiah 30:12-13  This is the reply of the Holy One of Israel:
"Because you despise what I tell you
    and trust instead in oppression and lies,
calamity will come upon you suddenly--
    like a bulging wall that bursts and falls.
In an instant it will collapse

Jeremiah 39:8  Meanwhile, the Babylonians burned Jerusalem, including the royal palace and the houses of the people, and they tore down the walls of the city.  (see all chapter 39)

and ruined every fort protecting him. 
Isaiah 22:5  
Oh, what a day of crushing defeat!
    What a day of confusion and terror
brought by the Lord, the LORD of Heaven's Armies,
    upon the Valley of Vision (Jerusalem)!
The walls of Jerusalem have been broken,
    and cries of death echo from the mountainsides.  (see all chapter 22)
Lamentations 2:2  
Without mercy the Lord has destroyed
    every home in Israel.
In his anger he has broken down
    the fortress walls of beautiful Jerusalem.
He has brought them to the ground,
    dishonoring the kingdom and its ruler.
Lamentations 2:5  
Yes, the Lord has vanquished Israel
    like an enemy.
He has destroyed her palaces
    and demolished her fortresses.
He has brought unending sorrow and tears
