Psalm 89:15-16 Part 1 of 2

Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship,
    for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD.
They rejoice all day long in your wonderful reputation.
    They exult in your righteousness.

Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship,
Psalm 95:6-7 
Come, let us worship and bow down.
    Let us kneel before the LORD our maker,
    for he is our God.
We are the people he watches over,
    the flock under his care.  (see all Psalm 95)
Matthew 2:1-2  Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, "Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him."  (see all chapter 2)

for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD. 
Leviticus 26:12  People from many nations will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
    to the house of Jacob's God.
There he will teach us his ways,
    and we will walk in his paths."
For the LORD's teaching will go out from Zion;
    his word will go out from Jerusalem.  (see all chapter 2)
Micah 6:8  
No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good,
    and this is what he requires of you:
to do what is right, to love mercy,
    and to walk humbly with your God.  (see all chapter 6)
Malachi 2:5-6  "The purpose of my covenant with the Levites was to bring life and peace, and that is what I gave them. This required reverence from them, and they greatly revered me and stood in awe of my name. They passed on to the people the truth of the instructions they received from me. They did not lie or cheat; they walked with me, living good and righteous lives, and they turned many from lives of sin."  (see verses 1-9)
John 8:12  Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life."  (see verses 12-20)

For the honor of your name, LORD,

But deal well with me, O Sovereign LORD,
    for the sake of your own reputation!
