Luke 17:5-6 Part 2 of 3

The apostles said to the Lord, "Show us how to increase our faith." The Lord answered, "If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, 'May you be uprooted and thrown into the sea,' and it would obey you!"

said to the Lord,

Matthew 7:21  "Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter." (see verses 21-23)

Luke 6:5  And Jesus added, "The Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath." (see verses 1-5, also Matthew 12:1-8 and Mark 2:23-28)

Revelation 22:20  He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon!" Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

 

"Show us how to increase our faith." 

Mark 9:24  The father instantly cried out, "I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!" (see verses 14-29, also Matthew 17:14-19 and Luke 9:37-43)

James 2:18-20  Now someone may argue, "Some people have faith; others have good deeds." But I say, "How can you show me your faith if you don't have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds." You say you have faith, for you believe there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can't you see that faith without good deeds is useless? (see verses 14-26)
