Luke 18:6-8 Part 2 of 2

Then the Lord said, "Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don't you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?"

 

"I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly!" 

Isaiah 63:4  "For the time has come for me to avenge my people, to ransom them from their oppressors." (see verses 3-18)

Hebrews 10:37  "For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay." (see verses 35-39)

 

"But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?" 

Hebrews 11:1  Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen, it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. (see verses 10:32-39)

Matthew 8:10  When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to those who were following him, he said, "I tell you the truth, I haven't seen faith like this in all Israel!" (see verses 5-13, also see Luke 7:1-10)

Matthew 13:58  And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief. (see verses 53-58)

2 Corinthians 1:24  But that does not mean we want to dominate you by telling you how to put your faith in practice. We want to work together with you so you will be full of joy, for it is by your own faith that you stand firm.

1 Thessalonians 1:8  And now the word of the Lord is ringing out from you to people everywhere, even beyond Macedonia and Achaia, for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God. ... (see verses 1-10)

1 Timothy 4:1  Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.

1 Timothy 6:10  For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

1 Peter 1:7  These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold--though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. (see verses 3-12)

Colossians 2:5  For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong. (see verses 1-23)

John 14:3  "When everything is ready, I (Jesus) will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am." (see verses 1-31)
