Luke 16:27-31 Part 1 of 2

"Then the rich man said, 'Please, Father Abraham, at least send him to my father's home. For I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don't end up in this place of torment.' But Abraham said, 'Moses and the prophets have warned them. Your brothers can read what they wrote.' The rich man replied, 'No, Father Abraham! But if someone is sent to them from the dead, then they will repent of their sins and turn to God.' But Abraham said, 'If they won't listen to Moses and the prophets, they won't listen even if someone rises from the dead.' "

"Then the rich man said, 'Please, Father Abraham, at least send him to my father's home. For I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don't end up in this place of torment.' "
Acts 2:40  Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging (warning) his listeners, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation!"
Deuteronomy 32:5  "But they have acted corruptly toward him (God); when they act so perversely, are they really his children? They are a deceitful and twisted (crooked) generation." (see verses 1-47)
Deuteronomy 32:20  "He said, 'I will abandon them; then see what becomes of them. For they are a twisted (crooked) generation, children without integrity.' "
Philippians 2:14-15  Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

"But Abraham said, 'Moses and the prophets have warned them. Your brothers can read what they wrote.' "
Luke 24:27  Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. (see verses 13-34)
Luke 24:44-47  Then he said, "When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled." Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. And he said, "Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day. It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: 'There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.' " (see verses 35-53)
