Luke 16:10-12 Part 1 of 2

"If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other people's things, why should you be trusted with things of your own?"

"If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities."
Proverbs 28:20  The trustworthy person will get a rich reward, but a person who wants quick riches will get into trouble.
Matthew 24:45-46  "A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward." (see verses 45-51, also see Luke 12:42-48)
Matthew 25:21  "The master was full of praise. 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let us celebrate together!" (see verses 14-30)
Luke 19:17  " 'Well done!' the king exclaimed. 'You are a good servant. You have been faithful in the little I entrusted to you, so you will be governor of ten cities as your reward.' " (see verses 11-26)

"And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?"
Matthew 6:19-21  "Don't store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."
Luke 18:22-24  When Jesus heard his answer, he said, "There is still one thing you haven't done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." But when the man heard this he became very sad, for he was very rich. When Jesus saw this, he said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!" (see verses 18-30)
