Luke 21:20-22

"And when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you will know that the time of its destruction has arrived. Then those in Judea must flee to the hills. Those in Jerusalem must get out, and those in the country should not return to the city. For those will be days of God's vengeance, and the prophetic words of the Scriptures will be fulfilled."

Isaiah 29:3  "I will be your enemy, surrounding Jerusalem and attacking its walls. I will build siege towers and destroy it." (see all chapter 29)

Jeremiah 6:6  This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says: "Cut down the trees for battering rams. Build siege ramps against the walls of Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished, for she is wicked through and through." (see all chapter 6)

Ezekiel 4:1-2  "And now son of man, take a large clay brick and set it down in front of you. Then draw a map of the city of Jerusalem on it. Show the city under siege. Build a wall around it so no one can escape. Set up an enemy camp, and surround the city with siege ramps and battering rams."

Ezekiel 26:7-8  "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: From the north I will bring King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon against Tyre. He is king of kings and brings his horses, chariots, charioteers, and great army. First he will destroy your mainland villages. Then he will attack you by building a siege wall, constructing a ramp, and raising a roof of shields against you. (see all chapter 26)

Luke 17:31  "On that day a person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. A person out in the field must not return home."

Daniel 9:26  "After this period of sixty-two sets of seven, the Anointed One will be killed, appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end." (see verses 20-27)

Hosea 9:7  The time of Israel's punishment has come; the day of payment is here. Soon Israel will know this all too well. Because of your great sin and hostility, you say, "The prophets are crazy and the inspired men are fools!" (see all chapter 9)

Hebrews 2:2  For the message God delivered through angels has always stood firm, and every violation of the law and every act of disobedience was punished. (see all chapter 2)
