Luke 22:28-30 Part 2 of 2

"You have stayed with me in my time of trial. And just as my Father has granted me a Kingdom, I now grant you the right to eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. And you will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

Isaiah 25:6  In Jerusalem, the LORD of Heaven's Armies will spread a wonderful feast for all the people of the world. It will be a delicious banquet with clear, well-aged wine and choice meat.

Matthew 8:11  "And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world--from east and west--and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven." (see verses 10-12)

Luke 14:15  Hearing this (see verses 7-14), a man sitting at the table with Jesus exclaimed, "What a blessing it will be to attend a banquet in the Kingdom of God!" (see verses 15-24)

Revelation 19:9  And the angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb." And he added, "These are true words that come from God." (see verses 6-10)

Matthew 19:28  Jesus replied, "I assure you that when the world is made new and the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have been my followers will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." (see verses 27-30)

James 1:1  This letter is from James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am writing to the "twelve tribes"--Jewish believers scattered abroad. Greetings!

Revelation 3:21  "Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne." (see verses 14-22)

Revelation 4:4  Twenty-four thrones surrounded him, and twenty-four elders sat on them. They were all clothed in white and had gold crowns on their heads. (see all chapter 4)

Revelation 20:4  Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (see verses 1-5)

Revelation 21:12  The city wall was broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates. (see verses 9-27)
