Luke 21:23-24 Part 2 of 2

"How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days. For there will be disaster in the land and great anger against this people. They will be killed by the sword or sent away as captives to all the nations of the world. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the period of the Gentiles comes to an end."

"They will be killed by the sword or sent away as captives to all the nations of the world. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the period of the Gentiles comes to an end." (continued)
Psalm 79:1  O God, pagan nations have conquered your land, your special possession. They have defiled your holy Temple and made Jerusalem a heap of ruins. (see verses 1-4)
Isaiah 5:5  Now let me tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will tear down its hedges and let it be destroyed. I will break down its walls and let the animals trample it (see verses 1-7)
Isaiah 63:18  How briefly your holy people possessed your holy place, and now our enemies have destroyed it. (see verses 15-19)
Jeremiah 21:7  " 'And after all that, says the LORD, I will hand over King Zedekiah, his staff, and everyone else in the city who survives the disease, war and famine. I will hand them over to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and to their other enemies. He will slaughter them and show them no mercy, pity, or compassion.' " (see verses 1-10)
Daniel 8:13-14  Then I heard two holy ones talking to each other. One of them asked, "How long will the events of this vision last? How long will the rebellion that causes desecration stop the daily sacrifices? How long will the Temple and heaven's army be trampled on?" The other replied, "It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the Temple will be made right again." (see all chapter 8)
Zechariah 12:1-3  This message concerning the fate of Israel is from the LORD, who stretched out the heavens, laid the foundations of the earth, and formed the human spirit. I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves. (see all chapter 12)
Romans 11:25-27  I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you do not feel proud of yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say, "The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness. And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins. (Isaiah 59:20-21, 27:9)" (see verses 25-36)
Revelation 11:2  "But do not measure the outer courtyard, for it has been turned over to the nations. They will trample the holy city for 42 months." (see verses 1-14)
