"Simon,
Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat. But I have
pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So
when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your
brothers." Peter said, "Lord, I am ready to go to prison with you, and
even to die with you." But Jesus said, "Peter, let me tell you
something. Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny
three times that you even know me."
Peter said, "Lord, I am ready to go to prison with you, and even to die with you."
John 11:16 Thomas, nicknamed the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, "Let's go, too--and die with Jesus." [see verses 1-44]
Matthew 26:33 Peter declared, "Even if everyone else deserts you, I will never desert you." [see also Mark 14:29]

Acts 12:1-4 About that time [see chapter 11:27-30] King Herod Agrippa began to persecute some believers in the church. He had the apostle James (John's brother) killed with a sword. When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he also arrested Peter. (This took place during the Passover celebration.) Then he imprisoned him, placing him under the guard of four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring Peter out for public trial after the Passover. [see verses 1-19]
But Jesus said, "Peter, let me tell you something. Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me."
Matthew 26:34 Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, Peter--this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny three times that you even know me." [see also Mark 14:30]
John 13:38 Jesus answered, "Die for me? I tell you the truth, Peter--before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me."
