Luke 22:3-6 Part 1 of 2

Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve disciples, and he went to the leading priests and captains of the Temple guard to discuss the best way to betray Jesus to them. They were delighted, and they promised to give him money. So he agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus so they could arrest him when the crowds weren't around.

 

Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve disciples,

1 Chronicles 21:1  Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the people of Israel. (see 21:1-22:1)

Job 1:6  One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the LORD, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them. (see verses 6-22, also 2:1-10)

Matthew 4:10  "Get out of here, Satan," Jesus told him. "For the Scriptures say, 'You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.' (Deuteronomy 6:13)" (see verses 1-11, also Mark 1:12-13)

Matthew 16:23  Jesus turned to Peter and said, "Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God's." (see verses 21-28)

Mark 4:15  "The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message, only to have Satan come at once and take it away." (see verses 2-20)

Luke 13:16  "This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by Satan for eighteen years. Isn't it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?" (see verses 10-17)

Luke 22:31  "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift each of you like wheat." (see verses 31-34, 54-62, also Matthew 26:31-35, 69-75, Mark 14:27-31, 66-72, John 18:15-27)

Acts 5:3  Then Peter said, "Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself." (see verses 1-11)

2 Corinthians 11:14  But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. (see verses 12-15)

1 Peter 5:8  Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Revelation 12:9  This great dragon--the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down to the earth with all his angels. (see verses 7-12)
