James 5:11

We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.

Matthew 5:10  "God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs."
Job 1:21-22  He said, "I came naked from my mother's womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!" In all this, Job did not sin by blaming God. (see verses 6-22)
Job 2:10  But Job replied, "You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?" So in all this, Job said nothing wrong. (see verses 1-10)
Romans 5:3  We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us build endurance. (see verses 1-11)
Hebrews 10:36  Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (see verses 19-39)
Hebrews 12:1  Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith (chapter 11), let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. (see verses 1-13)
James 1:3-4  For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (see verses 2-18)
Job 42:10  When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! (see verses 7-16)
Exodus 34:6  The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out, "Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness." (see verses 1-28)
Numbers 14:17-18  "Please, Lord, prove that your power is as great as you have claimed. For you said, 'The LORD is slow to anger and filled with unfailing love, forgiving every kind of sin and rebellion. But he does not excuse the guilty. He lays the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected--even children in the third and fourth generations.' " (see all chapter 14)
Psalm 103:8  The LORD is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. (see all Psalm 103)
