James 5:19-20 Part 1 of 2

My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.

My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth
John 8:31-32  Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
John 14:6  Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." (see all chapter 14)
John 17:15-17  "I'm not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth." (see all chapter 17)
1 Timothy 1:6  But some people have missed this whole point. They have turned away from these things and spend their time in meaningless discussions. (see verses 3-11, 18-20)
Hebrews 2:1  So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. (see all chapter 2)
2 Peter 2:15-16  They wandered off the right road and followed the footsteps of Balaam son of Beor, who loved to earn money by doing wrong. But Balaam was stopped from his mad course when his donkey rebuked him with a human voice. (see all chapter 2; also Numbers 22-24)

and is brought back,
Matthew 18:15  "If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back." (see verses 15-20)
Luke 17:3  "So watch yourselves! If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive." (see verses 1-6)
Galatians 6:1  Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. (see verses 1-5)
